Writing and research are central aspects of Anke Dye's artistic practice, which are questioned in their various forms with regard to their own preconditions and contexts. Situated in the field of tension between aesthetic and social normativity, artistic-research methods are tested, as are the production and collection of forms of knowledge, for example about (sub)cultural practices or altered digital modes of writing and information that systematically elude classical disciplines and their logics of utilisation.
