by Bokyoung Jeong & Ayaka Terajima
Ayaka Terajima (*1987, Japan) and Bokyoung Jeong (*1995, S.Korea) explore the relationships between material and the structures of our built environment through sculpture and display. With their mutual interest in how materiality interacts with given function in a mechanized and digitalized society, they reinterpret patterns and hierarchies of everyday objects.
Both live as foreigners from neighbouring home countries in Munich and share a similar outside perspective on their surroundings but have contrasting ways of dealing with material and space.
