Für seine Diplomarbeit präsentiert Ludwig Dressler eine multimediale Werkserie, die sowohl Videoinstallationen als auch Skulpturen umfasst. Die isolierte Darstellung der menschlichen Hand, genauer gesagt, die von der Hand ausgeführten Touchscreen-Gesten sind das zentrale Motiv der Arbeiten. Für den Künstler stehen sie metaphorisch für das Verhältnis von Mensch und Medientechnik, das er im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes aus mehreren Perspektiven beobachtet.

For his diploma, Ludwig Dressler presents a multimedia series of works that includes video installations as well as sculptures. The isolated representation of the human hand, or more precisely, the touch gestures performed by the hand are the central motif of the works. For the artist, they metaphorically represent the relationship between humans and media technology, which the artist quite literally observes from multiple perspectives.
