Parent-Child Room

In the summer semester of 2022, a parent-child room will open at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. From April 25, 2022, room E.EG.22 will be available to the children of students and staff for self-organized care. In the parent-child room, children can paint, play, read, rest, eat and drink. The room is accessible to breastfeeding and pregnant women as a resting place. The room is equipped with toys, books and pens, a changing table, and a baby crib. A workstation equipped with a computer is also available.

Children may only use the room with an adult caregiver and must be supervised at all times. Adults are not allowed to enter the room alone.

The parent-child room may be used by a maximum of 6 people at a time. Registration can be arranged by telephone (089-3851-109) or by e-mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) at the gate in the New Building, where the key must be collected as well. Before using the room for the first time, you must read the rules of use and sign a declaration of consent, which is also available at the gate.
