Mitch Speed is a Berlin-based writer. For the past thirteen years, he's contributed critical writing to magazines including Frieze, Camera Austria, E-Flux, Spike, Artforum, and Momus, amongst others. In 2019 Afterall Books published his critical study of Mark Leckey's iconic video artwork Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore. His collected essays are forthcoming from Brick Press.

The seminar (20.04.23) offers students the opportunity to exchange with interdisciplinary artists via group discussion or a workshop environment. The format of discourse between participants and invited artists is left open to the encounter itself, allocating time and space for students to contribute in ways which best fit their practice.
