Inspiriert von avantgardistischer Musik im Umfeld der olympischen Spielstraße 1972 wächst im Münchner Stadtmuseum die interaktive Musikbaustelle KOLLABS. Unter der Regie der Münchner Künstlerin Andrea Lesjak residieren im wöchentlichen Wechsel Künstler*innen verschiedenster Genres.
Am Mittwoch, den 14. und am Samstag, den 17. Dezember lädt die Künstlerin und Experimentalmusikerin Stephanie Müller gemeinsam mit dem queerfeministischen Maler und Filmemacher Klaus Erika Dietl zu „Toy.Toy“ ein – eine Spielwiese mit viel Raum für das Rauhe, Sanfte und Ungeschliffene im Sound: Alltagsgegenstände werden zu Klangkörpern. Ein Abflussrohrfagott durchwebt PingPong Beats. Die Gummischnur liefert die Bassline zum Feder-Fortissimo. Die Zwischentöne werden beim Reparieren und Gestalten mit verstärkten Nähmaschinen erzeugt. Interessierte sind eingeladen, Ausrangiertes zum Reparieren und Umfunktionieren mitzubringen und damit am Klangkörper anzuknüpfen.
Am Sonntag, den 18. Dezember improvisieren Klaus Erika Dietl und Stephanie Müller gemeinsam mit Pete Dowling und Christoph Reiserer in einem Spielfeld aus Casio-Instrumenten, Toys und selbstgebauten Klangobjekten.

„Das Letzte Loch ist der Mund“ beschäftigt sich mit der Sprachstruktur der Lüge im Strafvollzug. Der Spielfilm, der mitten in Münchens Subkultur umgesetzt wurde und 2017 Premiere hatte, hat passend zur gemütlichen Zeit ein Zuhause gefunden. Er wurde in das Programm des europäischen Arthouse Streaming Anbieters „SOONER“ aufgenommen. Dort ist er neben Filmen wie „Systemsprenger“, „Toni Erdmann“, „Tangerine L.A.“ oder „Die Bettwurst“ zu finden.

The Publications of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich
The Academy of Fine Arts Munich regularly issues publications. These document exhibitions in the AkademieGalerie or other art spaces in Munich and beyond, deal with the history of the Academy, collect texts on topics of current art discourse and document international lecture series, present distinguished graduates and much more.
The publications are available in bookshops if not out of print. You can also order the publications directly from the Academy against invoice, unless otherwise stated. Some publications deal with the history of the Academy, the development of the institution, the tapestries in the historic auditorium (Aula) and former classes and teaching staff.
Debütanten (Publikationen)
Catalogues of the debutants
Every year, three diploma students are awarded the Debutant Grant (Debütant*innenförderung). The support is given to produce a publication.
The catalogues are produced with funds from the Bavarian State Government’s Programme for Artists and Publicists of 24 June 1980.

AkademieGalerie Munich
Students of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich have been realising exhibition projects specially designed for the AkademieGalerie since 1989. They present the entire spectrum of artistic positions at the Academy. Catalogues documenting the exhibitions are published at irregular intervals. They are designed by students or graduates.
