Autostrata¹ is a trans-local exhibition series dealing with site-specific tendencies in artistic production. The first section of the project took place via partially overlapping exhibitions from September 14th to October 1st between the exhibition spaces DOMIE [Poznań], Stroboskop [Warsaw], and Galeria UL [Gdańsk] and included workshops, performances, and cooking sessions in addition to the exhibitions. In the second section of the project, the final exhibition in Halle 6, these constellations are taken up again through the final change of location [Poland – Germany], thus bringing the exhibition project to a close. The exhibition space itself comes into focus as a constitutive element of experience and reception through the integration of cross-border sound installations. Complemented by an open-source library, an archive, a panel discussion on organizing and establishing artist-run initiatives, and a publication expanding on the exhibitions: the exhibition space becomes an interactive listening and reading room.
